Jivamukti Yoga
Founded by David Life and Sharon Gannon in New York, Jivamukti Yoga is famous for it’s inspirational and educational methods. In addition to beautiful flowing asana sequences, the Jivamukti Method includes explorations of scripture, music, meditation, and ahimsa (non-harming).

Thai Yoga Bodywork Workshop
Fun and very popular; usually sells out. Super relaxing and therapeutic! It’s called Nuad Boran (The Ancient Practice) in Thailand. We call it traditional Thai Yoga Bodywork. Whatever you call it, it feels fantastic! Learn many healing techniques to share with your friends & loved ones. Your friends will love you for taking this class! Live demonstrations and lots of hands-on practice. Come on your own or bring a friend or partner! All are welcome. Suitable for all levels.

Thai Yoga Bodywork Workshop example schedule (flexible):
Saturday 10.00-12.30, part I feet, legs, hips
Saturday 3.00 – 5.30, part II hands, arms, back

Asana Adjustments and Assists Workshop
Custom designed to suit your studio’s needs.
Example schedule:
Session I. Principals of asana assists, practical considerations, student/instructor safety issues. Specific asanas covered will include: standing poses, tree, leaning-tree, warrior II, triangle (and variations), extended side angle, straddle fwd bend, uttanasana, utkatasana, downward-facing dog, and twisting poses.
Session II. Continuation of Part I, how to safely and effectively assist students in Paschimottanasana, Janu Sirsanana, warrior I, cobra, upward-facing dog, backbends (bridge, bow, wheel), handstand, headstand, shoulder stand. Both classes will cover the full poses as well as variations to accommodate various students needs.
Tibetan Heart Yoga Workshops and Teacher Trainings
Tibetan Heart Yoga is a synthesis of Indian and Tibetan wisdom traditions. Karl trained under Geshe Michael Roach and Christie McNally and he is accredited by the Yoga Studies Institute (YSI). This Tibetan tradition works through application of both inner and outer methods. Inner methods include our thoughts, intentions, and meditation techniques like tonglen and Mahamudra. These are interwoven with outer methods including asana, pranayama, mudras, etc. These courses can enrich any style of yoga. Suitable for all levels of students.
There are 10 different Series, each with a special focus:
- Series 1, The Six Paramitas (Perfections), w/tonglen meditation
- Series 2, Mahamudra: The Great Seal, w/ emptiness meditations
- Series 3, The Four Infinite Thoughts: Love, Compassion, Joy, and Equanimity
- Series 4, The Five Inner Winds: Prana Vayus
- Series 5, Guru Bliss: Bhakti and Blessings
- Series 6, Lady Niguma and the Six Elements
- Series 7-10 TBA
A custom schedule can be arranged to provide 1) introductory workshops, and/or 2) 20-hour Teacher Trainings for each Series. The teacher training programs are suitable for those who wish to become accredited teachers of Tibetan Heart Yoga as well as anyone wishing to deepen their practice.
